WONDER

As the sun is setting in
The tide is out tonight,
I wander across the sand,
Looking out too a far and distant land,
Wondering is there more out there,
A better life to live and love.

As the sun is beaming down
Beaming down on the sea,
The blueness of the ocean,
Beams off and onto me,
When I stumble across the notion,
Is there a better life to live and love.

As the sun dances in the sky,
The light hits my eyes,
Working my fingers to the bone,
Where the next meal is I don’t know,
When I wonder after my feet has walked miles,
Is there a better life and love and smiles.

As the sun is going down,
Looking out to the sea,
Dream of a far and distant land,
Waiting for me and my family,
When I am ready to risk it all cause here is also a risk,
Is there a better way, there is always a better way.
