SPICES
Ancient Voodoo drums of throbbing Afro beat,
Old Paprika, cayenne & hot piquant chili heat,
Tribal feet stamping dusty red pepper-corn seeds,
Releasing pungent oils from love & nutmeg beads,
Red wine flowing with ruby & golden saffron blood,
Olive oil, through veins where Spanish heat does thud,
Arabic turmeric, island mace & ancient coconut groves,
Old sand dunes dance to the scent of perfumed cloves,
Fiery fandango of Cuban throbbing & sweating thighs,
Reaching crescendo on passionate pepper-corned sighs.
