I’m taking over the world.
One poem at a time.
I know they’re laughing.
But this isn’t a punch line.
Sit back and watch me.
I’m screaming in the storm.
If it rains forever,
My words will keep me warm.
I’ve already tested it.
Many years, tried and true.
And I’m not a mockingbird.
I’m original to the truth.
Just read the next line,
And feel what it proves.
One poem at a time,
I give my love to you.
