A zipper rounding a suitcase closed
Lids muffle containers mouths
Cardboard boxes contorted moans
Tape pulled and stretched out long
Hangers rock back and forth
The labored swallow of lump down throat
The racking sound of gathering leaves
The crash of symbols the grumbled shift of a trash bag full
The emptied exhale
The heavy steps to the door
The click of a turned knob
The clink of keys falling from a hand to the floor
A body reunited with gravity
Love breaking
Like a fly in the room . . .
You can pinpoint the sound
