On April 2015, I won my first poetry contest from Creative Talents Unleashed – a small publishing company in California, doing amazing things for all in the poetry community.

Always an introvert, I was hesitant about getting my name out there because I didn’t really like the attention. What convinced me was seeing how many other poets are out there writing their hearts out and an audience of readers who still crave a poet’s words. It was an opportunity for me to use my experiences and speak to those who may need to see they are not alone or be inspired by what I have to say.
