Realness will always show itself
Because truth never lies
Seen because your mask is cracked
Cannot be so hard you can’t be broken
That will only last one cycle
Plant yourself in a place where you can grow
Or be cut down and the roots of who you are
be dug out and shredded to make way for
A two way lane
Paths for each of us
One lane is crowded and dominant
Traffic jams and construction
My GPS soul is not programmed that way
Converse with me on the roadside sitting in the grass
Tell me your feelings of why
Want to know to set my mission
Move into my lane to past where I’ve been
And see ahead into the distance
Don’t tell me which lane because I never cared for the military
So I don’t take orders
Make me special – and my lane is yours
That’s my transition
Where will yours be?
