The Tree

Twisted and turned
Knotted with age
Still the most beautiful
I have ever seen
Her hands

Cracked and discolored
Mottled with age
Still the most beautiful
I have ever seen
Her face

Aged to perfection
Like he tree on the hill
Where we first kissed
I have never seen
Anything as beautiful
As she

Beneath the tree
Soul naked only to me
Together forever
We will be
Under the old beautiful tree
