Queen of The Night
At her whim, I lost my soul, left soulless that I weep,
my weeping long continued ’till my life gave in to sleep;
In my heartbreak, she was earnest, taking all my heart and more,
my heart beat lost to nothing, left me lifeless, broke, and tore;
Kisses laced with poison, in her eyes I saw my death,
just the slightest touch of her sweet lips was the taking of my breath;
That I’d die to have her near me, die again within her eyes,
taste my death upon those lips, leave me where my body lies;
Though it is I’ve fallen lifeless, never again to feel the light,
I’d beg again, for just one kiss, from the beauty, Queen Of The Night.
