The Garden
Girl, the garden of life
is not always well-kept.
It is mostly a wild patch
teaming with insects
and creepy crawlies
that we often miss watching
the prettiest flowers grow.
They bloom in their season,
more beautiful than you imagine,
regardless of whether
you plant them in row…
different hues and aromas
blending, foliage ignored
during their show.
But at some point
beds need to be made
and certain plants
strive better in shadeâ¦
Bedded or wild, potted
or springing from seeds
scattered on the breeze
they all stand with delicate
petals facing the sun
returning to the dark
when their season is done.
