Church on one side
Hate on another
Unhitched, unhooked
Removed from each other
Church on one side, hate on another
Half breathes freely, half is smothered
One stands on holy ground, one stands in the street
Never in principle should both sides meet
Oh but if they do, may it
Never be discreetly
Ever may these titans clash and endeavor bitter-sweetly
Separate the sanctified from the stained
In doing so, love cannot be drained
Distinctive lines should be drawn, but if an
Evil twin is motheredâ¦
â¦Love could then be spawned
From church on one side
And hate on another
