Yes I’m Drunk Definitely Drunk as Drunk can be

But there is a reason, a reason for the way I be
I’m drinking to forget, to forget what used to be.

To forget what happened last Saturday night
to forget when life ceased to be, when last I used to be me.

She left, she just walked away
She took my heart, and left a jagged hole where it used to be.

So yes I’m drunk, as drunk as I can be
I need to forget, to forget what life used to be.

To unremember all I’m trying to forget
a life that ceased to be, when last I used to be me.
