Missouri born. Indiana “state raised”.
If you lived my life, you would be amazed
That I’m not dead or on a life bit,
‘Cause my childhood taught me not to give a rip,
And the years it took for me to break that grip,
To leave the hatred that I grew up with.
But I gave it all away and I seen it all burn.
I carry scars and lumps from lessons learned.
For a better life, I have always yearned.
So, I’m making my investments and taking my return.
