Mine Too
We stand on the porch belly to belly,
A baby in yours, and mine like a bowl of jelly.
Comparing the two rounded stomach’s we share,
just food in mine, but you have a baby in there”
Six months ago both tummies were flat,
And then, pow” they both began to inflate,
You nourished the life with vitamins and good health,
and I just gobbled up everything on my plate.
But don’t you worry baby , just as soon as you arrive,
mom and dad will be back in shape for you,
Until then Mommas stomach is going to keep growing,
and with sympathy,
Mine will too.
