Isolation
Do not speak to me again.
I will not hearken
To what you say,
Even how seductive
You say them, or
How ludicrous
I feel them to be.
For I am broken down,
My composure shattered,
Feeling the sorrow
Increasing from the core of my heart
Which your attitude had made retched in me.
How can my veins
Be filled with
The blood of love again?
How can Timeâs wings
Relocate me?
You say those words that bring back buried memories
Seeping from my sandstone mind.
You mustnât call my name,
You mustnât,
No.
Yet hurt is human,
Yet nothing is real or unreal,
And we all stand alone,
With our lovers or not;
Man keeps standing alone,
Even when we are in the greatest company.
