Generational Curses ~ Something Is Wrong Yall!

The prostitute out on the corner…
selling her body for drugs.
Her children are hungry
out on the streets robbing,
stealing, trying to get some food to eat….
Something Is Wrong Yall!

Their dead beat dad has flew the coop…
running here and running there…
tying to find a free place to lay his head.
He’s living with another woman…
eating up her food,
running up her bills,
driving her car…
but I have a man is what she says…I have a man
Something is wrong yall!

Teenage boys & girls
having all the sex
in the world,
with multiple partners,
old and young…
venereal diseases
spreading,
fatalities increasing…
emergency rooms
Something is wrong yall!
and funeral homes
are full to capacity

Drug dealers on the corner…
infesting our neighborhoods,
bribing police officers,
firearms are spreading bullets left and right…
stray bullets hitting innocent bystander’s
Mother is running her baby’s been shot dead…
it brings me pain…Something is wrong yall!

Picture an iceberg in your mind…
at the surface that’s all you can see…
but underneath the surface..
it’s wide, it’s deep
and it covers a large amount of the sea floor.

The definition of iceberg
is a large mounded mass of ice
that has broken away from a glacier
and floats in the sea,
with the greater part of its bulk under the water.

Underneath the surface something is wrong…
in the lives of our loved ones,
our families, our friends and our enemies
and like the iceberg is broken away from the glacier.
Many have been broken away from home, mom, dad, etc…
and are floating in a sea of hopelessness
and that brings me pain! Something is wrong yall!

Underneath the surface…I see strongholds that need to be broken:

Fear
Guilt
Shame
Incest
Adultery
Rejection
Depression
Pornography
Sexual Abuse
Mental Abuse
Homosexuality
Physical Abuse
Embarrassment
Emotional Abuse
Low-self Esteem
Child Molestation
Domestic Violence
Child Pornography
Inferiority Complex

On and on the list goes…it all brings me pain!

When will we find a cure?

When will we stop to care?
