Writing has been my therapy
my saving grace
taking me to places far from reality
but are my words powerful enough
am I good enough
to change the world with them
to touch a tortured soul
to breathe life into hearts cold
to inspire the unmotivated
to set free the minds of disdain
to make beautiful a place filled with stains
Am I good enough
to touch beings from the inside out
rid these creatures of angst and doubt
to make them feel loved
to take away starvation and agony
to used my thoughts as their therapy
to make their eyes see
Am I good enough
to be that confident in me
