Struck down with an unnerving affliction
Resorting to any means to feed her addiction
Encountering roadblocks that is impeding the progress
Hedonism in the forefront of stress
Vision cloudy but praying for some rain
Lavish thoughts to conceal the pain
From the exploitation and abuse
Expressing the soul; letting it loose
Appeasing the audience through the plastic smile and gyrations
Easing the mind off of turbulent situations
Made a covenant with the devil
To achieve greatness on any level
Onlookers ogling whispers showered with blank compliments
All about them dollars with no sense
