Friend
Knowing you are listening, is all I care
Knowing you are there, is all I need
Enough says nothing but content,
Satisfied is not good enough a word
To tell you,
A friend gained I cherish
And one like you I pray to keep.
Hope to know what you know,
As I give what I have
For a common bond shared
Then I will say,
You are a friend
You are my friend
