Change Me

Look into my mind
check out all my thoughts
remove all the bad ones
that like to throw rocks

Create in me a right way
that overcomes the wrong
eliminate my fears
and sing to me your song

Make me a real man
who stands for those who can’t
give me eyes that look for you
and a heart that always pants

Wake me up and shake me
lead me all the way
guard my hands and feet
and watch the words I say

I’m ready now
please change me
I can’t do it on my own
my ways are not yours Lord
and my thoughts are all mine alone

Give me you and take all the rest
cause I’m tired of who I am
lead me home and give me rest
and do with me
whatever you can.
